ALMA camps

Following an agreement between the universities of Aachen, Liège, Maastricht and Hasselt, various meetings are organized between these centers: summer "leisure sports" courses, winter sports courses...

ALMA-sports in an active part of the official cooperation between the Euregio-universities.
It tries to support the idea of the ALMA-agreement. Therefore the ALMA-university sports centers organise educational programmes for university sport teacher and several projects for students.
Every student can take part in any university sports activities at each ALMA-university.
But event more population among students is to take part at ALMA winter and summer sports camps.
The camp's goal is to enforce relationships between the students through sport activities and to get a closer look at the other countries culture and the different university systems.
The program is organised in a way that every participant can take active part in its organization. All sport activities are open suited for absolute beginners.

During the summer sport camps people are able to try one week of para-gliding, speleology, horse-riding, wind-surfing, rowing, canoeing, climbing, mountain-biking and sailing in the EUREGIO-area.

In winter skiing, snow boarding, big foot and a lot of winter sport games are offered in Champery/Switzerland. Groups are divided into different categories, to make sure that each participant's abilities, experiences and preferences will be considered.
