Description

Joining the University Tennis Club means becoming an official member of both the club and the federation, which gives you access to outdoor court reservations through the Balle Jaune platform, the opportunity to participate in tournaments and interclub matches, and a vibrant sports community. Spring lessons are also held on the club’s outdoor courts, allowing everyone—from beginners to experienced players—to improve their game and fully enjoy the tennis season.

  • 3 crushed-brick courts + 2 French-style courts (with lighting) at the Sart-Tilman Sports Centers

Information Regarding Membership in the Tennis Federation:

A single membership covers all sports: tennis, padel, and pickleball.

 

What are the membership fees for 2027 ?

  1. ULiège sports registration required
  2. TC Université complementary membership (including tennis federation membership*)
  • Adults: €95
  • Higher education students (university + higher education institutes): €85
  • Teenagers - secondary education: €85
  • Children - primary education: €50

* Membership of the tennis federation :

  • Is compulsory and must be paid each year (valid from April1st to March 31st of the following year)
  • Automatic subscription to the "Ethias" group insurance policy covering each member in the event of a sporting or cardiac accident on the tennis, padel and/or pickleball courts
  • Enables participation in official competitions (interclubs, tournaments)
  • Enables official ranking

Discounts for dor dual membership :

  • Are you registered with another club and affiliated to the federation via that club?
    At your request, we will deduct the cost of the federation card from your TC Université membership fee (amounts see above). Please contact our secretariat: sports@uliege.be or 04/366.39.34
  • For the 2027 season, the federation membership fee is as follows:

17 years and over: €42

10 to 16 years: €20.85

9 years and under: €6


No other discounts are granted.

NB : Prices are subject to change on January 1st of the current season

Access to courts

  • Tennis courts can be booked via the following platform : https://ballejaune.com/club/tcu
  • French court surfaces are available around mid-March, and crushed brick surfaces around April 20 (weather permitting). Check Balle Jaune for exact dates. 
  • For the 2027 season, French court surfaces will be open starting [information to come: starting in January 2027] and crushed brick surfaces [information to come: starting in January 2027]; French court surfaces will be available on weekends only.  Starting [information to follow: as of January 2027], French court and crushed brick courts will be available according to the schedule posted on the Ballejaune platform.
  • Courts are accessible only to members who are current with their dues for the current season.

Already a TCU member last year?

  • Your access codes remain the same (so you won't receive any new codes) and will be usable a few days after payment of your TC Université membership fee (if the membership form has been returned to the secretariat or completed online).

Are you a new member?

  • Access codes are sent by email to members via the Balle Jaune platform a few days after payment of your membership fee. If you don't receive your codes, check your spam folder

How to register and pay your affiliation?

Normal registration

  1. Fill in the TC Université online affiliation form (+interclubs)  https://forms.gle/6A4XYexig2Yu4Pqn7 (Or paper version)
  2. Download theapplication MonClub application application and create your account, then choose the "Tennis - TC Université" package.

    If you have already paid the ULiège sports membership fee for the current academic year, the system will automatically deduct the membership fee when you pay (so you won't pay twice).

    NB: Membership packages include the ULiège sports membership fee and an additional fee where applicable. If you choose several sports formulas, you will only payone ULiège sports membership fee (the membership fee will be automatically deducted at the time of payment).
  3. Proceed to payment from the application

If you encounter a problem paying via the MonClub application, please contact the ULiège sports secretariat by e-mail sports@uliege.be 

Dual membership

  1. Fill in the TC Université online affiliation form (+interclubs)  https://forms.gle/6A4XYexig2Yu4Pqn7 (Or paper version )
  2. Send your request by e-mail to sports@uliege.be so that we can inform you of the amount to be paid in the case of double affiliation and the payment terms. Please note: if you haven't already done so, please create an account in the MonClub application (information to create an account here)

    If you have already paid the ULiège sports membership fee for the current academic year, the system will automatically deduct the amount of the membership fee at the time of payment (so you won't pay the fee twice).

Tennis lessons are only open to TC Université members who have paid their membership fees (ULiège sports and TC Université).

Les cours de printemps ont lieu à raison d'une heure par session pendant 10 semaines sur les courts de français en terre battue de l'Université TC ou dans le hall du Blanc Gravier.

S1 and S2 = outdoor French-style courts
INT = indoor courts (White Hall, clay)

Cost

Price for 8 one-hour classes (1 hour/week)

  • 4 people per court:
    • Adults: 90€ per person
    • Students: €72 per person
    • Children/Teens: €72 per person
  • 2 people per court:
    • Adults: €180 per person
    • Students: €144 per person
    • Child/Teen: €144 per person

Registration and Payment

  1. Fill out the online form (available here) and send it to , timothee.klompkes@uliege.be, , and to  sports@uliege.be
  2. If you haven’t already done so, download theapp  MonClub app and create your account (or your child’s account). At this stage, it is not possible to pay for tennis lessons, the ULiège Sports membership card, or TC Université membership.
  3.  Once the groups have been formed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your schedule and details  on how to make the payment.  Note: Payment must be made before the first lesson (after this deadline, your reserved spot will automatically be released).
  4. Later, you’ll receive an email containing a payment link to pay your fees via the MonClub app; then, complete the payment to confirm your registration for the classes. 

You can add an additional package through the app at any time.

 

Private Lessons 

The University Tennis Club offers private lessons for players who want personalized coaching and guidance tailored to their goals.

Details

  • Strictly one-on-one lessons (1 person)
  • No group lessons for 2, 3, or 4 people
  • Lessons taught by Mr. Timothée Klompkes
  • Location: outdoor courts at the University Tennis Club

Eligibility

  • Activity reserved exclusively for members of the University Tennis Club
  • Must be up to date on membership dues for the 2025–2026 season

Organization

  • Duration: 1 hour per lesson
  • Schedules and availability to be arranged directly with the instructor

Rate

  • €35 / hour
