Description
Nordic Walking
+

Nordic walking is an endurance sport that combines the work of arms and legs through the use of poles. stemming from cross-country skiing, the technique allows the work of 80% of the muscles, while relieving the load on the legs by 20 to 40%.

Ideal for an optimal breathing and a high energy expenditure (400 Kcal/h against 280 Kcal/h for rhythmic walking), it softens the joints without tiring them and strengthens the skeleton.

Nordic walking is suitable for all age groups. The most athletic will find it a simple, attractive and effective way to train.

This sport is relatively simple but it is necessary to learn the basic rules to practice in an optimal way and without risk of injury.
The choice of poles, specifically adapted to each one, will be done preferably on the advice of an instructor during the initiation.

Nordic walking can be practiced in any season and in the nature. Alone or in a group, the sportsman, or the less sportsman, will experience pleasure "to burn calories" while discovering our magnificent corners of Wallonia and elsewhere.
