INFORMATION ON CHANGES TO ACTIVITY LOCATIONS DURING THE CSST CONSTRUCTION PERIOD (END OF SCHOOL YEAR 23-24)

Dear members,

As a reminder, as indicated in the sports guide and on our website since the start of the academic year :

Starting April 2renovation work will begin at the Sart-Tilman Sports Center. This work will affect the following halls: the IEP sports hall, as well as gymnasiums 1, 2 and 3. As a result, these areas will no longer be accessible for our usual activities during the renovation period.

In order to guarantee the continuity of our activities, the majority of training sessions and events that used to take place in the IEP hall and gyms 1, 2 and 3 will be relocated to the Blanc Gravier hall , and a small number of activities will be relocated to the Athénée de l'Air Pur inSeraing. A detailed schedule has been communicated to the instructors and is also available on our website www.sports.uliege.be(see the pages of each section concerned and via the "Travaux CSST" tab on our site, which will be regularly updated with information about the work).

However, we would like to reassure you that the other other infrastructures will remain accessible (such as the swimming pool, weight room, squash courts, etc.).

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:

  • For sections which will be moved to l'Air Pur de Seraing (i.e. Cheerleading/ Pomdance, Hapkido, Volley-Ball initiation, Taekwondo (Wednesdays) and Karate (Fridays)): please note that entry to the facilities is by group via the barrier on the right at the end of the street (see address below). Please respect the activity schedule and arrive on time for the first class, so that everyone can enter at the same time. AIR PUR's address is: Rue Verte, 269, Seraing.
  • Basketball: training will take place in the IEP Hall during the first 2 weeks of April => Thereafter, they will take place on court 3 "team sports" in the Blanc Gravier hall.
  • Handball: training will take place in the Hall IEP during the first 2 weeks of April => We need to find another hall to finish the school year so that training can take place in the best possible conditions. We will keep you informed of the situation as soon as possible.
  • For all the following sports: Pilates (Monday 12:30 and Friday 12:30), Karate (Monday), Aikido - Kobudo, Boxing, Judo) => activities will take place in the room G3 sports Center during the first week of April. For the following weeks: either activities will be held in the same place OR they will be moved to the G3 area of the Hall du Blanc Gravier. Keep an eye on our website under the "NEWS" or "TRAVAUX CSST" tabs, as well as on our social networks, to keep up to date with the G3 relocation situation.

For any additional information, we invite you to regularly check our website (tab "News" or "Travaux CSST") and follow our news on our social networks (Instagram & Facebook).

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this transition period.

Best regards,

The ULiège sports team
