Insurance

Insurance is mandatory and valid for all sports. To be insured, you must be registered.

For university students, the University's insurance policy is extended to sports, for the fee.
For all other categories of members, the insurance premium is included in the fee.

Members are insured only for activities organized within the framework of the ULiège sports.

Guaranteed amounts

Civil liability insurance :

• bodily injury : 12.500.000,00 € per claim
• property damage : 1.250.000,00 € per claim

Insurance against bodily injury :

• reimbursement, after intervention by the mutual insurance companies, of the costs of treatment included in the nomenclature of the RIZIV tariff, up to the amount of the tariff
• medical services not included in the nomenclature of the RIZIV tariff, up to a maximum of € 250.00
• dental prostheses: € 380.00 per tooth, up to a maximum of € 1,500.00 per victim
• damage to glasses : - lenses: in full - frames: € 65.00
• funeral expenses up to € 2,500.00
• in case of death: 24.800,00 € per victim
• in case of permanent disability: 74.400,00 € per victim

In case of accident

1. Ask for an accident declaration form either to the instructor or delegate of your section, or to our secretariat
2. Fill in and sign the accident declaration form yourself
3. Have the declaration signed by one of the persons in charge of the sport activity (instructor or delegate)
4. Send the completed form and the medical certificate to the secretariat. We will then declare the accident to Ethias Insurance
5. The invoices for hospitalization, medication or other must be sent to your mutual insurance company. They will be reimbursed first by your mutual insurance company and the complement by the insurance company (on presentation of what the mutual insurance company has already paid you)
