Vovinam Viet Vo Dao
The way of the Vietnamese martial art.
Description
Combining strength and suppleness, this martial art enables in-depth mastery of the body by learning foot-punching, elbow-knee techniques, self-defense, hand-to-hand combat, the handling of traditional weapons (knife, saber, halberd, etc.) and acrobatics.
The section is recognized by the Association Belge Francophone de Vovinam (AVVBF) and regularly and successfully sends its members to national and international championships.
Children's classes from age 5 (same timetable as adult classes)
Our activities :

- The beginner and advanced courses are not separated, which allows beginners to train with the most senior students and to appreciate the most elaborate techniques.
- Learning of techniques specific to Vovinam Viet Vo Dao
- Quyen (kata)
- Fighting
- Scissors technique
- Acrobatics
- Meetings with other clubs and passing of rank
- Participation in Belgian, European and World Championships

Cost
1. Registration required (One annual membership fee only, regardless of the number of sports you participate in)
- ULiège students: €45
- Students from other universities, higher education institutions, and elementary and secondary schools: €50
- ULiège staff (and spouses): €65
- Staff at CHU-CHR Citadelle, ADEPS, and Eurogentec: €65
- ULiège alumni: €70
- Others (not listed above): €75
2. Additional annual "martial arts" subscription (giving access to all martial arts except fencing)
- Students (ULiège and other students): 40€
- Other categories: €65

Registration and payment
- Once you've created your profile on the MonClub application, choose the "Vovinam viet vo dao" sports package.
NB: Membership packages include the ULiège sports membership fee and an additional contribution where applicable. If you choose several sports formulas (including several martial arts - except fencing), you will only pay one ULiège sports membership and one "martial arts" subscription (the amount to be paid will be automatically adapted). - Proceed to payment from the application. NB: if you have already paid the "martial arts" subscription, the amount displayed will be 0 €. Please complete the procedure and "validate" payment.
