Climbing
Description
Our activities vary throughout the year, so that you can develop your skills in all areas of the discipline.
During academic vacations or weekends, we can organize courses (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc.) and/or rock climbing outings (Esneux, Awirs, Namur, etc.), depending on demand and member involvement.

Training and initiation on the climbing wall
- Wednesday, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Friday, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm
NB: No training during school vacations and public holidays

December to March :
- Varied activities, indoor climbing, physical training, techniques and safety, ...
- Fridays from 7pm to 9pm at the Top Rock gym (on registration)
- Mondays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Area gym
April to June and September :
- Varied program and rock outings
- Schedule varies according to weather conditions and natural sites in the area
- Mondays from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm at the Aréa hall
Information
- Salon des sports on Saturday September 27, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Campus Universitaire, Amphithéâtres de l'Europe, Quartier Agora, Boulevard de Colonster 13, Bâtiment B4, parking lot A): information on all sports, section stands, registration, etc
Conditions
- Minimum age 16
- To ensure maximum safety during activities and a reasonable number of participants, the number of registrations is limited.
- A minimum number of participants is required to validate the initiation phase and ensure that safety techniques are acquired.
- When registering, please complete and sign the document via this link and return it to one of our instructors or to the secretary's office.
Equipment
- We provideropes,carabiners,belay devices and harnesses for the Sart-Tilman introductory course.Please note that we do not provide slippers, but flat-soled sneakers are sufficient.
- Once you've passed the initiation phase, you'll need to acquire your own equipment.
- NB: + helmet for outdoor outings.

Cost
2. Additional annual subscription :
- Students (ULiège and other students): €65
- Other categories: €75
- Possibility of membership of the UBS federation for access to the crags during section activities, but also for outings on your own. The insurance included with this membership covers you for climbing, even outside Uliège sports. For further information, please contact our instructors.
Please note: for minors, parental authorization to be completed by parents via the MonClub application
Registration and payment
- Once you've created your profile in the MonClub application, choose the "Climbing" sports package.
Membership packages include the ULiège sports membership fee and an additional contribution where applicable. If you choose more than one sports package, you will pay onlyone ULiège sports membership fee (the membership fee will be automatically deducted at the time of payment). - Proceed to payment from the application.
You can add a complementary package at any time via the application.
