Horseback riding

The riding section aims to bring together all members of the university community with a passion for horses, from beginners to experienced riders.

Description

In cycles of 10 one-hour sessions, possibility of rides (min. 6 riders).

Groups of riders will be formed according to equestrian ability.

Initiates and experienced riders who are able to form a complete and homogeneous group, can send in their form simultaneously, specifying the composition of the group, and the day and time chosen from the proposed schedule.

This section is only open to ULiège and Hautes Ecoles students, ULiège staff and their spouses.

Cost

1.Registration required

2. Membership fee (per school year) (payable to the Cercle Equestre): €20

3. Subscription for 10 consecutive lessons (payable to the Cercle Equestre) :

• students (ULiège and Hautes écoles): €105
• university staff and spouse : 115 €

NB : 2 lessons may be made up during the term for which the subscription is paid

Please note: for minors, parental authorization to be completed by parents via the MonClub application

Registration and payment

Before the registration session :

1. Please create an account on theMonClub application

2. Once your account has been created, register in the "Riding - Pending registrations" section and fill in the form with your level and schedule details (this will be used during the registration session)

--> At this stage, you don't have to pay anything

3. Come to the registration session at l'Eperon (see date above)

4. At the registration session, you will be asked to pay your membership fees (ULiège sports membership card + 10-lesson subscription + Cercle Equestre membership fee) by credit card on sitewith the ULiège sports secretariat members present that day.

Please note: payment will not be possible if your account has not been created in the MonClub application and the "Equitation - pending registrations" option has not been selected.

If you register after the registration session :

1. Please contact l'Eperon directly (to find out if places are available according to your level): see contact details below

2. Create an account onMonClub application

3. Once your account has been created, register in the "Equitation - Pending registrations" section

4. If there are still places available, l'Eperon will contact ULiège sports so that ULiège sports can send you a payment link inviting you to pay your membership fees via the MonClub application (ULiège sports membership card + 10-lesson subscription + Cercle Equestre membership fee)

Group composition

To make it easier to form rider groups, please return theregistration form before 20.09.25 (after this date, please contact the instructors directly).

Information session and group formation :

Meeting on Tuesday 23.09.25 at l'Eperon (rue du Vieux Frêne 21, 4031 Angleur)

• 18h - 19h : students
• 7pm - 8pm: ULiège staff (and spouses)

NB: priority will be given to full groups when allocating hours, but group composition may be adjusted at the time of registration.

Payment

Once the groups have been formed at the registration session, you can pay for your ULiège sports membership/member card via your account created in the MonClub application.

Procedure in MonClub :

1. After creating your profile in the MonClub application , choose the "Riding" sports package (even if you may have already paid the ULiège membership/member card for another sports discipline). NB: this package only includes payment for the ULiège sports membership card.
   Please note: Membership fees for lessons and the Cercle Equestre subscription must be paid directly to l'Eperon.
   
   Membership formulas include the price of the ULiège sports membership and an additional fee where applicable. If you choose several sports packages, you will only payone ULiège sports membership fee (the membership fee will be automatically deducted at the time of payment).
2. Proceed to payment of the ULiège sports membership card from the application.

You can add a complementary package at any time via the application.

Sports fair

Saturday September 27, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Campus Universitaire, Amphithéâtres de l'Europe, Quartier Agora, Boulevard de Colonster 13, Bâtiment B4, parking A): information on all sports, section stands, registration, etc

• Schedules may change during the year
• Riders must be present 15 minutes before the scheduled lesson time for horses and equipment to be designated
• Memberships and subscriptions are non-refundable, nominative and valid for the academic year
• Tetanus vaccination is compulsory
